Tallow Burner

Tallow burner or mouse lamp, tallow

or with olive oil and mandab oil (mando)

used for night lighting

It was a type of lamp, this lamp contained oils and wicks

because of the resemblance of its part (plate) to a mouse

a long lamp called a mouse lamp

had a cotton wick. The lamp was

abandoned early due to high smoke

and 850 degrees by Dastan Art Group

pottery and 950 degrees in the oven

Turquoise glaze was recreated in firing.
